I pay homage to the male botanists Leschenault (I couldn’t find his records), Johan Coenraad van Hasselt, and Sarasin (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1826.

Native to Borneo, Jawa, Lesser Sunda Is., Malaya, Philippines, Sulawesi, Sumatera, and Thailand.
