#570 They called me Vachellia macracantha, also known as Acacia humboldtii, Poponax cowellii, and Acacia cowellii. I pay homage to the male botanists Alexander von Humboldt, and Cowell (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 2006.
#569 They called me Colchicum cilicicum, also known as Colchicum parkinsonii, and Colchicum sibthorpii. I pay homage to the male botanists Charles Edward Parkinson, and John Sibthorp, or Humphry Waldo Sibthorp. They first catalogued me in 1898.
