I pay homage to the male botanists Wenzel (I couldn’t find his records), Scortechin (I couldn’t find his records), Carl Friedrich Schmidt, Ernst Johannes Schmidt, Eduard Oscar Schmidt, Wilhelm Ludwig Ewald Schmidt, or Wilhelm Schmidt, and Benjamin Lincoln Robinson, Charles Budd Robinson, Edward Armitage Robinson, George Leslie Robinson, Harold E. Robinson, or Alastair Robinson. They first catalogued me in 1819.
