#827 They called me Trichosanthes ovigera, also known as Trichosanthes horsfieldii, and Anguina horsfieldii. I pay homage to the male botanist Thomas Horsfield. They first catalogued me in 1826.

Native to Andaman Is., Assam, Bangladesh, Borneo, East Himalaya, Jawa, Myanmar, Nepal, New Guinea, Queensland, Vanuatu, Vietnam, and West Himalaya.
