#585 They called me Pseudophoenix sargentii, also known as Chamaephoenix sargentii, and Cyclospathe northropii. I pay homage to the male botanists Northrop (I couldn’t find his records), and Charles Sprague Sargent, or Henry Winthrop Sargent. They first catalogued me in 1886.
