I pay homage to the male botanists Grashoff (I couldn’t find his records), and Cecil Joslin Brooks, or Maurice Graham Brooks. They first catalogued me in 1908.
#899 They called me Elaphoglossum blumeanum, also known as Elaphoglossum copelandii. I pay homage to the male botanist Edwin Bingham Copeland, or Herbert Faulkner Copeland. They first catalogued me in 1841.

I pay homage to the male botanists Gustave Prosper Vidal, William Griffith, and Charles Curtis, Carlton Clarence Curtis, Charles Henry Curtis, William Curtis, or Moses Ashley Curtis. They first catalogued me in 1872.
