#771 They called me Euchiton japonicus, also known as Gnaphalium willdenowii. I pay homage to the male botanist Carl Ludwig Willdenow, or Carl Ludwig von Willdenow. They first catalogued me in 1974.

Native to China North-Central, China South-Central, China Southeast, Japan, Jawa, Korea, Lesser Sunda Is., Nansei-shoto, New Caledonia, New Guinea, Philippines, Sumatera, and Taiwan.

#770 They called me Davallia denticulata, also known as Trichomanes elegans var. weddellii, Trichomanes prieurii, Trichomanes weddellii, and Trichomanes leprieurii. I pay homage to the male botanists Hugh Algernon Weddell, Prieur (I couldn’t find his records), and Leprieur (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1867.
