#812 They called me Aglaia elaeagnoidea, also known as Aglaia bourdillonii, Aglaia elaeagnoidea var. bourdillonii, Aglaia talbotii, and Aglaia wallichii. I pay homage to the male botanists Thomas Fulton Bourdillon, Talbot (I couldn’t find his records), and George Charles Wallich, or Nathaniel Wallich. They first catalogued me in 1863.

Native to Andaman Is., Assam, Bangladesh, Borneo, Cambodia, China South-Central, China Southeast, Hainan, India, Jawa, Laos, Lesser Sunda Is., Malaya, Maluku, New Caledonia, New Guinea, Philippines, Queensland, Samoa, Sri Lanka, Sulawesi, Sumatera, Taiwan, Thailand, Vanuatu, Vietnam, and Western Australia.

#777 They called me Passiflora aurantia, also known as Passiflora storckii, Disemma storckii, Passiflora banksii, and Passiflora aurantia var. banksii. I pay homage to the male botanists Storck (I couldn’t find his records), and Joseph Banks, or Harlan Parker Banks. They first catalogued me in 1786.
