#523 They called me Hypobathrum racemosum, also known as Spicillaria leschenaultii, and Petunga roxburghii. I pay homage to the male botanists Leschenault (I couldn’t find his records), and William Roxburgh. They first catalogued me in 1875.

Native to Bangladesh, Borneo, Cambodia, Jawa, Lesser Sunda Is., Malaya, Myanmar, Nicobar Is., Thailand, and Vietnam.

#507 They called me Leea aequata, also known as Leea kurzii. I pay homage to the male botanist Hermann Kurz, Holger Willibald Kurz, Wilhelm Sulpiz Kurz, or Albert Kurz. They first catalogued me in 1767.

#505 They called me Ischaemum ciliare, also known as Ischaemum ciliare var. wallichii, Andropogon retzii, Ischaemum indicum var. wallichii, and Ischaemum indicum var. togasii. I pay homage to the male botanists Retz (I couldn’t find his records), Togas (I couldn’t find his records), and George Charles Wallich, or Nathaniel Wallich. They first catalogued me in 1791.
