#994 They called me Morisonia americana, also known as Morisonia johnstonii. I pay homage to the male botanist Henry Halcro Johnston, Henry “Harry” Hamilton Johnston, Ivan Murray Johnston, or Marshall Conring Johnston. They first catalogued me in 1753.
