#425 They called me Caryota mitis, also known as Caryota griffithii, and Drymophloeus zippellii. I pay homage to the male botanists William Griffith, and Zippell (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1790.
#421 They called me Aglaia spectabilis, also known as Amoora wallichii, and Aphanamixis wallichii. I pay homage to the male botanist George Charles Wallich, or Nathaniel Wallich. They first catalogued me in 1987.
#420 They called me Strophanthus caudatus, also known as Strophanthus caudatus fo. marckii, Strophanthus cumingii, and Strophanthus griffithii. I pay homage to the male botanists Marck (I couldn’t find his records), Hugh Cuming, and William Griffith. They first catalogued me in 1877.
