#444 They called me Huperzia serrata, also known as Lycopodium serratum var. thunbergii. I pay homage to the male botanist Carl Peter Thunberg. They first catalogued me in 1874.

Native to Cuba, Haiti, Hawaii, Japan, Khabarovsk, Korea, Kuril Is., Manchuria, Mexico Northeast, Mexico Southwest, Primorye, and Sakhalin.

#415 They called me Athyrium vidalii, also known as Athyrium neowardii, and Asplenium vidalii. I pay homage to the male botanists Gustave Prosper Vidal, and Neoward (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1925.

Native to China North-Central, China South-Central, China Southeast, Japan, Korea, Kuril Is., Taiwan, and Vietnam.

Native to Alaska, British Columbia, Japan, Korea, Kuril Is., Primorye, and Sakhalin.
