Native to China North-Central, China South-Central, China Southeast, Japan, Khabarovsk, Korea, Kuril Is., Manchuria, Primorye, and Sakhalin.

#754 They called me Betula ermanii, also known as Betula paraermanii, and Betula komarovii. I pay homage to the male botanists Erman (I couldn’t find his records), Paraerman (I couldn’t find his records), and Vladimir Leontyevich Komarov. They first catalogued me in 1831.

Native to Amur, Buryatiya, China North-Central, Chita, Irkutsk, Japan, Kamchatka, Khabarovsk, Korea, Kuril Is., Magadan, Manchuria, Primorye, Sakhalin, and Yakutskiya.
