I pay homage to the male botanists Carl Ludwig Willdenow, or Carl Ludwig von Willdenow, Henry Bleneowe Matthews, or Henry John Matthews, Jan Svatopluk Presl, or Carl Borivoj Presl, Adolphe Theodore Brongniart, Adolphe-Théodore Brongniart, or Alexandre Brongniart, and Alexander Braun, Karl Friedrich Wilhelm Braun, or Alexander Karl Heinrich Braun. They first catalogued me in 1791.
