I pay homage to the male botanists Micholitz (I couldn’t find his records), and Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach, Ludwig Reichenbach, or Carl (Karl) Ludwig von Reichenbach. They first catalogued me in 1790.

Native to Andaman Is., Assam, Bangladesh, Borneo, Cambodia, China South-Central, China Southeast, East Himalaya, India, Jawa, Laos, Lesser Sunda Is., Malaya, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicobar Is., Philippines, Sulawesi, Sumatera, Thailand, Vietnam, and West Himalaya.

They first catalogued me in 1790.
