#812 They called me Aglaia elaeagnoidea, also known as Aglaia bourdillonii, Aglaia elaeagnoidea var. bourdillonii, Aglaia talbotii, and Aglaia wallichii. I pay homage to the male botanists Thomas Fulton Bourdillon, Talbot (I couldn’t find his records), and George Charles Wallich, or Nathaniel Wallich. They first catalogued me in 1863.

I pay homage to the male botanists Whang (I couldn’t find his records), Johann Wilhelm Karl Moritz, Clifford R. Parks, Archbold (I couldn’t find his records), and Erling Christophersen. They first catalogued me in 1849.

Native to China South-Central, China Southeast, Hainan, India, Jawa, Laos, Lesser Sunda Is., Philippines, Queensland, Sri Lanka, Sulawesi, Thailand, and Vietnam.
