Najas indica

#960 They called me Najas indica, also known as Najas kingii. I pay homage to the male botanist George King. They first catalogued me in 1829.

Native to Argentina Northeast, Bolivia, Brazil North, Brazil Northeast, Brazil South, Brazil Southeast, Brazil West-Central, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico Southeast, Paraguay, Suriname, Trinidad-Tobago, and Venezuela.
