#1007 They called me Lasianthus chrysoneurus, also known as Lasianthus kurzii, Lasianthus kurzii var. howii, and Nonatelia kurzii. I pay homage to the male botanists How (I couldn’t find his records), and Hermann Kurz, Holger Willibald Kurz, Wilhelm Sulpiz Kurz, or Albert Kurz. They first catalogued me in 1857.
Native to Borneo, Malaya, Maluku, Nicobar Is., Philippines, Sulawesi, Sumatera, and Thailand.
