#170 They called me Sterculia macrophylla, also known as Sterculia parkinsonii. I pay homage to the male botanist Charles Edward Parkinson. They first catalogued me in 1805.

Native to Andaman Is., Bismarck Archipelago, Borneo, Jawa, Malaya, Maluku, Myanmar, New Guinea, Nicobar Is., Philippines, Solomon Is., Sulawesi, Sumatera, and Thailand.

Native to Jawa, Lesser Sunda Is., Solomon Is., Sulawesi, and Vanuatu.
