#715 They called me Agelaea macrophylla, also known as Castanola wallichii, Agelaea diepenhorstii, Agelaea wallichii, Agelaea hullettii, Castanola hullettii, Connarus diepenhorstii, and Hemiandrina hullettii. I pay homage to the male botanists Diepenhorst (I couldn’t find his records), Hullett (I couldn’t find his records), and George Charles Wallich, or Nathaniel Wallich. They first catalogued me in 1958.

Native to Borneo, Jawa, Lesser Sunda Is., Malaya, Myanmar, Sumatera, and Vietnam.

#714 They called me Cassipourea guianensis, also known as Cassipourea guildingii. I pay homage to the male botanist Lansdown Guilding. They first catalogued me in 1811.

Native to Brazil North, Brazil Northeast, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad-Tobago, and Venezuela.

#713 They called me Horsfieldia amygdalina, also known as Myristica kurzii, and Horsfieldia thorelii. I pay homage to the male botanists Thorel (I couldn’t find his records), and Hermann Kurz, Holger Willibald Kurz, Wilhelm Sulpiz Kurz, or Albert Kurz. They first catalogued me in 1897.

Native to Andaman Is., Assam, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China South-Central, China Southeast, Hainan, Laos, Myanmar, Nicobar Is., Thailand, and Vietnam.
