#413 They called me Ptychosperma elegans, also known as Archontophoenix veitchii, and Ptychosperma seaforthii. I pay homage to the male botanists Seaforth (I couldn’t find his records), and Harry Veitch, John Gould Veitch, Peter Veitch, or Harry James Veitch. They first catalogued me in 1843.
