#976 They called me Pomatocalpa marsupiale, also known as Cleisostoma koordersii, Saccolabium koordersii, and Pomatocalpa koordersii. I pay homage to the male botanist Sijfert Hendrik Koorders. They first catalogued me in 1913.

Native to Algeria, Baleares, Canary Is., Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Libya, Morocco, Portugal, Sardegna, Sicilia, Sinai, Somalia, Spain, Tunisia, and Western Sahara.

#975 They called me Poa nemoralis, also known as Poa parnellii, Poa kumgansanii, and Poa nemoralis var. popovii. I pay homage to the male botanists Parnell (I couldn’t find his records), Kumgansan (I couldn’t find his records), and George Basil Popov. They first catalogued me in 1753.

Native to Maluku, New Guinea, Queensland, Solomon Is., and Sulawesi.
