#763 They called me Iodes cirrhosa, also known as Iodes brandisii. I pay homage to the male botanist Dietrich Brandis. They first catalogued me in 1854.

Native to Andaman Is., Assam, Borneo, China South-Central, China Southeast, Jawa, Laos, Malaya, Myanmar, Nicobar Is., Philippines, Sulawesi, Sumatera, Thailand, and Vietnam.

#762 They called me Hedyotis kurzii, also known as Oldenlandia wallichii. I pay homage to the male botanists George Charles Wallich, or Nathaniel Wallich, and Hermann Kurz, Holger Willibald Kurz, Wilhelm Sulpiz Kurz, or Albert Kurz. They first catalogued me in 1934.
