#774 They called me Woodsia polystichoides, also known as Woodsia polystichoides f. veitchii, Woodsia polystichoides var. veitchii, and Woodsia brandtii. I pay homage to the male botanists Andreas Heinrich Karl Brandt, and Harry Veitch, John Gould Veitch, Peter Veitch, or Harry James Veitch. They first catalogued me in 1858.
