#737 They called me Leptochilus insignis, also known as Microsorum hancockii, and Kaulinia hancockii. I pay homage to the male botanist Thomas Hancock. They first catalogued me in 2008.

Native to Bangladesh, Borneo, China South-Central, China Southeast, East Himalaya, Hainan, Japan, Jawa, Lesser Sunda Is., Malaya, Myanmar, Nansei-shoto, Nepal, Nicobar Is., Philippines, Sri Lanka, Sumatera, Taiwan, Thailand, Tibet, and Vietnam.

#736 They called me Disocactus speciosus, also known as Cereus schrankii, Disocactus schrankii, Cereus jenkinsonii, and Heliocereus schrankii. I pay homage to the male botanists Franz Paula von Schrank, and Jenkinson (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1991.

Native to Guatemala, Mexico Central, Mexico Northeast, Mexico Northwest, and Mexico Southwest.

#735 They called me Pomatocalpa spicatum, also known as Saccolabium hobsonii, Cleisostoma mannii, and Pomatocalpa mannii. I pay homage to the male botanists Edward Hobson, and Gustav Mann. They first catalogued me in 1829.
