#498 They called me Cinnamomum burmanni, also known as Cinnamomum thunbergii, and Cinnamomum ammannii. I pay homage to the male botanists Carl Peter Thunberg, and Ammann (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1826.

Native to Bangladesh, Borneo, China South-Central, China Southeast, Hainan, Jawa, Lesser Sunda Is., Myanmar, Philippines, Sulawesi, Sumatera, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

Native to Jawa, Lesser Sunda Is., Malaya, New Caledonia, New Guinea, Philippines, Queensland, Solomon Is., Sulawesi, Taiwan, and Thailand.
