#1020 They called me Korthalsella taenioides, also known as Korthalsella mumfordii, and Bifaria hillebrandii. I pay homage to the male botanists Mumford (I couldn’t find his records), and William (Wilhelm) Hillebrand, or William Francis Hillebrand. They first catalogued me in 1897.

Native to Assam, Bangladesh, Borneo, Cambodia, China South-Central, China Southeast, East Himalaya, India, Jawa, Laos, Lesser Sunda Is., Malaya, Maluku, Myanmar, New Guinea, Philippines, Queensland, Solomon Is., Sulawesi, Sumatera, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

#1013 They called me Willughbeia edulis, also known as Pacouria roxburghii. I pay homage to the male botanist William Roxburgh. They first catalogued me in 1820.

Native to Hainan, Jawa, Lesser Sunda Is., Maluku, New Guinea, Philippines, Queensland, Sulawesi, and Taiwan.

#975 They called me Poa nemoralis, also known as Poa parnellii, Poa kumgansanii, and Poa nemoralis var. popovii. I pay homage to the male botanists Parnell (I couldn’t find his records), Kumgansan (I couldn’t find his records), and George Basil Popov. They first catalogued me in 1753.

Native to Maluku, New Guinea, Queensland, Solomon Is., and Sulawesi.
