#581 They called me Sarcolobus globosus, also known as Gongronema finlaysonii, Gymnema finlaysonii, and Sarcolobus banksii. I pay homage to the male botanists Finlayson (I couldn’t find his records), and Joseph Banks, or Harlan Parker Banks. They first catalogued me in 1816.

Native to Andaman Is., Bangladesh, Borneo, India, Jawa, Laos, Lesser Sunda Is., Malaya, Maluku, Myanmar, New Guinea, Nicobar Is., Philippines, Sulawesi, Sumatera, Thailand, and Vietnam.
