I pay homage to the male botanists Van-der-hoeven (I couldn’t find his records), and Carl Friedrich Schmidt, Ernst Johannes Schmidt, Eduard Oscar Schmidt, Wilhelm Ludwig Ewald Schmidt, or Wilhelm Schmidt. They first catalogued me in 1825.
#914 They called me Utricularia uliginosa, also known as Utricularia nayarii, and Utricularia griffithii. I pay homage to the male botanists Nayar (I couldn’t find his records), and William Griffith. They first catalogued me in 1804.
