I pay homage to the male botanists How (I couldn’t find his records), and Hermann Kurz, Holger Willibald Kurz, Wilhelm Sulpiz Kurz, or Albert Kurz. They first catalogued me in 1857.

I pay homage to the male botanists Slooten (I couldn’t find his records), and George Charles Wallich, or Nathaniel Wallich. They first catalogued me in 1993.
