#924 They called me Aphananthe cuspidata, also known as Gironniera thompsonii, and Gironniera curranii. I pay homage to the male botanists William Thompson, and Hugh McCollum Curran. They first catalogued me in 1873.
#916 They called me Aganope thyrsiflora, also known as Aganope thyrsiflora var. wallichii, and Derris wallichii. I pay homage to the male botanist George Charles Wallich, or Nathaniel Wallich. They first catalogued me in 1971.
#915 They called me Dipterocarpus gracilis, also known as Dipterocarpus van-der-hoevenii, and Dipterocarpus schmidtii. I pay homage to the male botanists Van-der-hoeven (I couldn’t find his records), and Carl Friedrich Schmidt, Ernst Johannes Schmidt, Eduard Oscar Schmidt, Wilhelm Ludwig Ewald Schmidt, or Wilhelm Schmidt. They first catalogued me in 1825.
