#463 They called me Ixora timorensis, also known as Ixora kochii. I pay homage to the male botanist Karl Koch, Georg Friedrich Koch, Karl Heinrich Emil Koch, Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Koch, or Wilhelm Daniel Joseph Koch. They first catalogued me in 1834.
Native to Jawa, Lesser Sunda Is., Maluku, New Guinea, Northern Territory, Queensland, and Sulawesi.
