#1020 They called me Korthalsella taenioides, also known as Korthalsella mumfordii, and Bifaria hillebrandii. I pay homage to the male botanists Mumford (I couldn’t find his records), and William (Wilhelm) Hillebrand, or William Francis Hillebrand. They first catalogued me in 1897.

Native to Assam, Bangladesh, Borneo, Cambodia, China South-Central, China Southeast, East Himalaya, India, Jawa, Laos, Lesser Sunda Is., Malaya, Maluku, Myanmar, New Guinea, Philippines, Queensland, Solomon Is., Sulawesi, Sumatera, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
