#941 They called me Arenga pinnata, also known as Saguerus rumphii, Gomutus rumphii, and Arenga griffithii. I pay homage to the male botanists Rumph (I couldn’t find his records), and William Griffith. They first catalogued me in 1917.
Native to Assam, Bangladesh, East Himalaya, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and West Himalaya.
